Once he feel comfortable to enter the carrier then close the door for little time and then release the cat which will be a nice treat for your cat, you should repeat it twice a week and with the passage the time of confinement should also be increased but keep in mind the duration of confinement never more than ten minutes. If you want to provide more enjoyment to the cat then put some toys in the carrier.
