Cat Illness
Cat is an innocent animal and most people are unknown about the illness of cat because they cannot analysis the behavior of cat. Cats cannot express about their illness because they cannot talk. There are some specific illnesses of cats and you can identify these illnesses through some sign which you will observe in their behavior. If your cats are doing unusual behavior then you should consult with a vet.
If your cat experiences some pain when using the litter box or you find signs of blood in her urine then these signs indicate that cat may have a urinary tract infection. This is normal thing as happen to human. If your cat has the problem of UTI then they will face many accidents and go for litter box unusually. If this problem is mild then it will easily be recovered if the problem is serious then it may cause many trouble to your cat. So you don’t waste time to consult with vet. If the problem is in initial stage then antibiotics will go well and control the problem, if the problem has progressed to bladder or kidney then you needs to have surgery for your cat.
There is another illness of cat which is respiratory infections it is similar to common cold in humans. Mostly outdoor cats have this problem because they have contact with other infected cats. The sign of this illness are sneezing, coughing, and runny nose. You will find your cat with runny eyes or raspy meow in this illness but it is not a very serious problem you can handle this illness professionally. Feline distemper is a big threat to your cat and if you have vaccinated your cats then you should not be fear of this problem. Mostly young kittens and wild cats can be affected with this problem. If you find the following symptoms like listlessness, diarrhoea, vomiting and refusal to eat something then rushes her to the vet. This is fatal illness and the best way is to get rid of this problem you should vaccinate your cat at a young age.
Senior cats suffer from kidney failure this illness is mostly due to old age. The symptoms of this illness are lack of appetite, lethargy and nausea. You should go to veterinarian for treatment. During this problem kidney lose the ability of conserving water so what they drink is quickly passed through the body and the cat will drink more but with passage of time the filtering ability of kidney become lower and the toxin which expel in urine finish which cause the kidney completely failed. You should go for vet and special diets are given to your cat which can help to prolong the cat life.
Sometime the early warning of any illness is missed because they are very slight when they show up. When you notice the sign another time then this illness may have progressed to serious stage. You should check your cat on regular basis in order to be aware of the health of your cat.
